What is play?

Play-based learning helps children develop social skills, motivation to learn, and even language and numeracy skills. Taking initiative, focused attention, and curiosity about the world are all a part of play.

How does this translate to dog training? Easy, We take the same ideals of using play and games to teach children, and teach our dogs.

With Games-based training I help you build the relationship with you and your dog first.  Developing your relationship and trust is key as you go forward and play your games.

Want a dog who comes when called? There’s a game for that! Want a dog who waits by the door politely when company comes over? There’s a game for that! Want a dog who walks nicely on a leash on your walk in the park? There is a game for that too!

Games-based dog training also helps with developing appropriate social behavior, motivation to learn,  independence, focused attention, and curiosity about the world in which dogs live.

Come on out and PLAY!

Unleash your pet!
