Be ready to help your pet in an emergency. Learn CPR, first aid, and other lifesaving skills that could make the difference for your cat or dog.
This course teaches first aid techniques to address the most common emergencies that can occur with small and large dogs as well as cats. This course will train you to notice abnormalities and detect early warning signs in pets. You will also learn essential pre-vet care and life saving techniques for those times when immediate action can make all the difference.
This is a 4 hour VIRTUAL course that once you have passed, earns you a 2 year certificate from Pro Pet.

To earn certificates, students must learn:

● Safety concerns for handling injured/ill pets and muzzling/restraint techniques
● CPR/rescue breathing techniques
● Treating bleeding and wounds
● Dealing with bloat, vomiting, seizures, choking
● Heat stroke and hypothermia
● Burns and broken bones
● Poisoning (foods, insects, medicines)
● Head-to-tail wellness check
